Left. Though, align the titles together and leave the thumbnail-less links indented with white space. Also, a expand/contract all thumbnails button would be slick.</description>

		<description>Put them on the left. That's where the eye goes in LTR languages, which is most of them. Also, placing on the right leads the eye away from the content.</description>

		<description>Seems like standards would dictate on the left, and in a photo the important content is the picture itself. So in a culture that reads left to right I think pic on the left is better.</description>
