We just finished rolling out yet another software release packed with new features . This release has new functionality and improvements to just about every aspect of the Lijit product. There are advertising account updates, search result updates, new stats, and much more.

Automated Recurring Payments

Let’s start with Automated Recurring Payments. If you haven’t checked out Lijit Ad services yet, you should. This new feature makes it even easier for you to get the money you earn by placing Lijit display ads on your site. Instead of requesting a payment each month for your outstanding revenue, you can now provide us with your payment details and we’ll automatically pay you at the end of the following month. If you happen to forget to update your payment information, we’ll send you a friendly reminder.

Details:

• Payments are made on outstanding balances of $25 dollars or more.
• Payments are made at the end of each month and are net 1 month (we pay you for the revenue you made last month) .
• You only need to provide Lijit with your Paypal and Tax information(where applicable), and we’ll take care of the rest.
• You still need to request payment to receive your June revenue and you should do that by July 19th to ensure payment at the end of July. After doing that , make sure to set your payment details by visiting the “Earnings” tab in your account and clicking the “Edit Payment and Registration Info” link.

Real Time Status

It’s now really easy to share your most recent status updates from Twitter right in your search results. This cool new feature shows your real time status in your search results so you can give your readers even more context about who you are and the content you create online.

It’s super easy to add this to your search results too. Simply login to your Lijit account and visit the “Content” section.

Check the box below your twitter account, save your settings, and you are ready to go.

Referring Site Stats

By now you’ve learned about all of the different ways Lijit stats help you better understand your readers and how they engage with your site and your online content. This new stat will make you even more of an expert on understanding your reader base by showing how they found your site. This new stat shows you the top 25 sites that are driving traffic to your site. You can use this to get a better picture of how you are performing from an SEO perspective, or measuring whether that tweet you posted last week drove more readers to your site by seeing how many visitors are coming from www.google.com or twitter.com. Do you have a bunch of friends or fans on facebook? Now you can tell how many are finding your site from links on facebook.com . Check out the example and visit the “Readers” tab in your Lijit stats dashboard to learn more about how people find your site.

Ad Stats Export-

• We now provide you with the ability to export your ad stats to get an even better view of how your Lijit ad tags are performing on a daily or even hourly basis. Visit the “Ads” tab in your Lijit Stats dashboard and select the “Download csv” option to see what we are talking about.

New Ad Tag Sizes-

• We introduced some new Ad Tag sizes that should perform great on your site. Visit the “Ad Tags” tab in your “Wjits” menu to see if any of the new sizes are right for your site. The new sizes are perform great for rich media ads are now available ina 300×600, 336×280, and 240×400 sizes.

Auto-Fit Embedded Search Results-

• Lijit publishers who use our “embedded” search results option should see new behavior that makes this search result display method even easier to user. The results section will now dynamically resize to fit the number of results displayed. This will make your Lijit search results fit even more seamlessly on your site, and give your readers an even better search experience.
