PHP Developer
Job Description
Lijit Networks, Inc. has an immediate need for a PHP Developer. As a member of the core engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features for our Internet services. In addition to strong technical skills, the successful candidate should be an eager, team oriented, self starter with a positive attitude, interested in working in a small fast paced startup.
Responsibilities
- Interact with Product Management and application developers to define and implement the back-end logic to support new features for our web-based applications.
- Create unit tests for software validation
- Create and maintain software design and implementation documents as appropriate.
Requirements
- Senior/Expert - level knowledge of object-oriented programming with PHP
- 3+ years experience PHP in a LAMP environment
- Experience developing distributed applications
- Experience developing applications with large numbers of concurrent users
- Experience working within a software development organization utilizing source code management, defect tracking, and IDE development tools.
- Comfortable working closely with a small team of software developers.
- Linux experience a plus.
- Ability to deliver on-time, well-tested modules
- Ability to write clean, well commented, modular code
- BS/MS in C.S. or related degree (or equivalent experience)
