If you see a friend who’s already in the system or find an informer whose reports you particularly enjoy, you can trust them to bring them closer to you within your trusted network. To trust an existing informer:

1. Visit their profile page by clicking on their name or picture.
2. If you are not directly connected to them already, you’ll see a green TRUST button opposite of where their big picture displays towards the top of the page. Click it to display the form to trust them.
3. Provide a description – tell us how you know them. Note that this description will display for others to see. You may add or change it later, if you like.
4. Type some subjects in which you trust this informer. If they know a lot about digital cameras and photography, you might enter (in a comma-separated list, please), “digital cameras, photography, photos, cameras”. These subjects help Lijit and our informers search for (and find) this informer later. You can add or change these subjects later too.
5. When you’re done, click the trust button at the bottom of the form.

The informer you've just trusted will now show up in the trusts block on the right-hand side of your profile page.
